Svalbard

The capital is Longyearbyen of this country of 2,701 people. Languages in use Norwegian, Russian. It's climate is arctic, tempered by warm North Atlantic Current; cool summers, cold winters; North Atlantic Current flows along west and north coasts of Spitsbergen, keeping water open and navigable most of the year. The currency is the Norwegian krone and the country has an area of 62,049 km2.
